The Neverending Minecraft House Pt 2

With the first part of the neverending house complete, I have started on the next phase, the dining hall. Inspired by dining halls present in Viking castles (and a little bit of Hogwarts), the hall measures 100m x 20m.

I made the floor in a checkerboard pattern using cobblestone and smooth stone.

Rain never makes for a good picture, but here you can see a little bit more complete version of the floor.

This is the connecting hall between the foyer and the dining hall. Pretty basic, but I am learning to love sandstone as a building material.

Here is a good shot of the size and scope of the dining hall.

I have just been hacking down these trees and replanting them for my wood supply. I don't really like wandering around hunting down trees. This way, I can stay near my home and get everything I need.

The dining hall is a big project. It's going to take a while. Working legitimately and alone causes that.
